New Acupuncturist, Weekend hours & We're Hiring Receptionists

Hope you had an enjoyable Labor Day weekend! Summer is winding down, the days are a bit shorter and the nights are a bit cooler. School is back in session and Autumn is just around the corner; it’s a good time to take advantage of the sunny weather and spend some quality time outdoors.

SEPTEMBER & OCTOBER SCHEDULE
The schedule has been unusual this Summer with the remodel, Staff time off, and changes with the Student Interns. Things are changing again in October, with a new Acupuncturist – Jen Kehl, expanded shifts (incl. Saturday) and Rob reducing his hours to focus on administrative work. In the meantime for September, Tonya will be taking on Rob’s Tuesday AM. Appointment availability may be limited, but never fear - October will have more shifts & stability as things settle and we add a new Acupuncturist. NEW ACUPUNCURIST – JEN KEHL L.Ac
Some of you may have met Jen at the front desk in the role of Receptionist, or you may have gotten a treatment from her as a Student Intern. Well, she’s taking on a new role as a Licensed Acupuncturist! Jen K has finished her Internship, graduated from Acupuncture school, passed all of her Exams and has been licensed by the state of Oregon Medical Board. She is bringing her experience as a Nurse to her new role as a practitioner of Community Acupuncture. Starting in October she will be seeing clients Wednesday, Thursday & Friday afternoons as well as a new weekend shift on Saturdays 9-1pm. Welcome her to the team and come in to get a treatment from Jen K.

WE’RE HIRING A PART TIME RECEPTIONIST AND A SUBSTITUTE
With some of our front desk staff graduating Acupuncture School and transitioning to become practitioners we have openings for new office staff positions. We are currently looking for a part-time receptionist to work the front desk, greet clients, answer the phone and book appointments. This is a paid position for 15-20 hours per week & includes evening or weekend hours (more shifts may become available as our hours expand). We also need a Sub Receptionist with a flexible schedule and short notice availability to cover shifts (we may have regular hours available too) It is a busy job and not for everyone, we will only consider applicants with at least 1 year experience working reception, equivalent customer service or healthcare experience. If you or someone you know is interested, drop by or email a resume and cover letter as soon as possible.
