TONYA IS DEPARTING
After being a vital part of our clinic for many years, Tonya Tigart L.Ac is moving on to pursue what’s next. She has seen the clinic through thick & thin and will be sorely missed. She is working her regular schedule until the end of December if you want to get a treatment and wish her well. Tonya has written a farewell letter to all of her wonderful clients:

“I am writing to you today to share some important news regarding my practice at Acupuncture for the People. My last day seeing clients will be December 31, 2025. I am going to be taking time to focus on my family and to further my education in the healing arts. This was not an easy decision for me to make, working with you and witnessing your journey toward health and balance has been a true privilege. I am incredibly grateful for the trust you have placed in me and for allowing me to be a part of your healing process through acupuncture. I will cherish the time we've spent together, celebrating your progress and navigating challenges.
Thank you for your time, vulnerability, and dedication to your well-being. I send you all my heart-felt love and I wish you continued success, health, and prosperity in all your future endeavors.
With warmth and gratitude,
Tonya Tigart”

KATIA (INTERN) IS TAKING A BABY BREAK
Our POCA Intern Katia is nearing the end of her pregnancy and is taking a much needed break to bring a little person into the world. She had her last day this week and Marco & Tonya will help cover the rest of the Tuesdays and Fridays in December. We will still honor the intern fee ($15-50) for those that are already scheduled on those shifts. In the New Year Tiffany will take Tues MID and Maddie is on Fri AM. Currently there are no local students needing clinic hours, but we expect more in the future.

TIFFANY IS A LICENCED ACUPUNCTURIST
After devoting so much time to her studies, Tiffany Marquez has passed all of her acupuncture board exams, is nationally certified and licensed to practice in Oregon! She has been with Acupuncture For The People as a receptionist, office manager and student intern for more than 8 years and is finally realizing her goal to become an Acupuncturist. Get a relaxing treatment from Tiffany starting 1/6 on Tuesday 12:30-5pm, Wednesday 9am-1pm and our new Sunday shift 1-5pm.

MADDIE BECOMING FULL TIME
Our newest addition to the acupuncture team, Maddie Foley L.Ac will be expanding her schedule in the new year. Keeping her Monday AM 9-1, she will also be treating clients Tuesdays 9-12:30pm, Thursdays 9-12:30pm and Friday AM 9-1pm. She is fantastic and we’re excited to be expanding her schedule so you all can meet her and benefit from her care.

HIRING A RECEPTIONIST
With an expanding schedule and receptionists becoming practitioners, we need more help at the front desk. Right now, we have an opening for a part-time receptionist 3-4 shifts a week. A flexible schedule and availability eves & weekends is desired. Contact our Office Manager at Acu4you@gmail.com for an application.
