Tonya worked at Acupuncture For The People a few years ago and now she has returned to treat clients on the Weekends. You can get an appointment with her on Saturday Mornings (9-1) and Sunday Afternoons (1-5). Come in and say “hi” and get a relaxing treatment from Tonya.

“Tonya Tigart received her masters of science in Oriental Medicine in 2009 from Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, NM. She has also received advanced acupuncture training in Harbin, China where she studied at the Hei Long Jiang University Hospital of TCM which specialized in post stroke recovery treatments. In 2011 she opened the first community acupuncture clinic in New Orleans, LA where she performed thousands of treatments on a diverse population who may not have had access to alternative care without her clinic.

Tonya specializes in treatments for pain, neurological conditions, stress and anxiety, post stroke care, infertility and other women’s issues. It is her desire to help you heal naturally using the ancient yet ever maturing Chinese medicine modalities.
