UPDATED SICK POLICY
/Cold & Flu Season is coming, here is our updated Sick Policy:
Respiratory Virus Guidelines Stay home and away from others if you have respiratory virus symptoms that aren't better explained by another cause. These symptoms can include fever, chills, body aches, fatigue, cough, runny nose, among others.
You can return to the clinic when, for at least 24 hours, both are true:
Your symptoms are getting better overall, and
You have not had a fever (and are not using fever-reducing medication).
After meeting the above criteria, take added precautions over the next 5 days, including wearing a well fitting mask anytime you are in the clinic and washing or sanitizing your hands frequently.
After the 5 days, if you have a lingering cough that is frequent and persistent, please wear a well fitting mask out of consideration for others in the community space.
After Being Exposed to Covid: As currently defined by the NIH: a high-risk covid exposure takes place at a distance of less than six feet for a total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period with someone who tests positive.
Wear a well fitting mask anytime you are in the clinic for 10 days from the day of exposure.
You can still develop covid up to 10 days after you have been exposed.
If you develop symptoms, follow the Respiratory Virus Guidelines as outlined above.
