END OF SUMMER $20 SPECIAL, MADDIE'S TIME OFF, STUDENT INTERNS [Oct ‘26 Newsletter]
/Summer is winding down, the days are a bit shorter and the nights are getting cooler. School is back in session and Autumn is just around the corner; it’s a good time to take advantage of the sunny weather and spend some quality time outdoors before the rain.
WELCOME BACK SPECIAL - $20
Lots of folks spent the Summer enjoying the outdoors, traveling or caring for their kids while on break. Now that the weather is shifting and school is back in session it’s a great time to come in and get acupuncture. We’d love to see you again, so if it’s been more than a month since you’ve had a treatment then your next visit is just $20! Mention this newsletter to get the discount, offer ends November 15th.
MADDIE TIME OFF
Coming up this month, Maddie will be taking some time off for an exciting vacation abroad. Starting October 26th her shifts will be covered by other Acupuncturists, including some Student Intern Shifts at a discounted rate (see below). This is a good opportunity to see a different practitioner to get a new perspective or treatment approach. Maddie will be back on November 16th and you will be notified if there any changes to your appointments while she’s gone.
WELCOME BACK KATIA [STUDENT INTERN]
We are proud to host Student Interns from ORCCA (a Community Acupuncture school based in Portland). During Maddie’s absence, Katia Bushanski will be filling in during the morning shifts from 9am -12:30pm - M 10/26, F 10/30, M 11/2, M 11/9 and F 11/13. Katia interned at Acupuncture For The People before taking a break to have a baby and enjoy being a new parent. Now she is back to finish up the rest of her shifts. Come in to say “hi’ and get a treatment from Katia at the Student Rate.
STUDENT INTERNS & DISCOUNT TREATMENTS
After Maddie is back mid-November we will be expanding our hours for regular Intern Shifts with Katia and Chad (who’s been observing here for the last year). Visits with students are at a discounted rate ($15-$50 sliding scale) where trained Interns (under the supervision of a Licensed Acupuncturist) will provide quality treatments in a supportive learning environment. Participation in our Student Clinic supports the future of community acupuncture while receiving care you can afford. We’ll announce the changes soon and the online schedule and website will be updated when the new hours start.
Enjoy the Autumn colors as the leaves change with the season,
